Aqueduct Tower
After years of precarious solutions put in place in the early 1900s for the supply of drinking water, the municipal administration decided, not without technical problems and controversial aftermath, to build a functional aqueduct worthy of the name.
In order to distribute water throughout the village, an elevated reservoir was needed that would allow for regular distribution, so it was built, relatively quickly, in the form of a tower, so as to make it harmonious with the original structure of the fortified castle.
Begun in early 1924, it was finished in a little over a year, solving a problem that citizens had suffered for too many years.
